Fundación Iberdrola España donates 1,000 accessible face masks for people with disabilities
Fundación Iberdrola España, through its Social Programme, has donated 1,000 accessible masks for people with disabilities. The masks have a transparent window that facilitates communication, are reusable and are duly approved and manufactured with environmentally friendly materials.
These masks have been made at the Special Employment Centre of the Association of People with Disabilities and have been distributed among the entities of the Foundation’s Social Programme that are dedicated to the social inclusion of people with disabilities. Some of the associations that have received a batch of 75 units are Upace Sur, in Cádiz; Down Asturias, in the Community of Madrid and Oviedo; FECAM in Castilla La Mancha and ADSIS in Valladolid. Masks have also been sent to social entities dedicated to vulnerable children in Madrid, such as Ciudad Joven and Balia.
Fundación Iberdrola España, in its commitment to the most vulnerable people, has strengthened its alliance with social entities in 2021, seeking to mitigate the negative impact of the economic crisis derived from the pandemic with an investment of 1.2 million euros through its Social Programme 2021.
