Fundación Iberdrola España installs the ‘Museorum’ exhibition in the heart of Humanes
- The municipality hosts until January 28th this great photographic exhibition that includes unique pieces from the five provincial galleries
- With this exhibition project, Iberdrola continues to support culture and heritage conservation through different actions in Castilla-La Mancha
The municipality of Humanes, in Guadalajara, hosts since today “Museorum”, the outdoor exhibition cycle that offers the most representative pieces of the five provincial galleries, through 42 large photographic panels. The Fundación Iberdrola España has installed this exhibition in the central Paseo de la Constitución, which brings the art of the museums of Castilla-La Mancha closer to its neighbors.
The opening ceremony was attended by Elena Cañeque, mayor of Humanes; José Luis Escudero, delegate of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La-Mancha in Guadalajara; Ángel Francisco Fernández-Montes, provincial delegate of the Consejería de Educación, Cultura y Deportes de Castilla La-Mancha in Guadalajara and Fernando García, president of the Fundación Iberdrola España.
Among the pieces on display are some such as The Knight of the Villares, The Bust of Lucius Caesar of Ercávica, The Venus of Noheda, The Sepulcher of Doña Aldonza de Mendoza of Lupiana, The Immaculate Oballe of El Greco, The Female Sculpture of Zeno of Aphrodisias, The Front of the Synagogue of Ciudad Real or The Transit of San Julián by Giuseppe Simonelli.
In addition, the Museum of Guadalajara will be able to contemplate those of the Vaso Campaniforme de Valdepeñas de la Sierra, the Female Sculpture of Zenón de Afrodisias, the Ataifor of Guadalajara, the Plasterwork of the synagogue of Molina de Aragón, the Sepulcher of Doña Aldonza de Mendoza of Lupiana, the Virgin of the Milk of Alonso Cano, the Terracottas of the Life of the Virgin of La Roldana and the Botargad of Arbancón.
After the success of the exhibition in Cuenca and in the La Mancha municipalities of Alcolea de Calatrava, Manzanares, Cifuentes, Bolaños de Calatrava, La Roda, Quintanar del Rey, and Illescas, “Museorum” continues its tour of the Autonomous Community. After Humanes, the exhibition will pass through Almansa and Consuegra.

Recently, Fundación Iberdrola España was awarded the Medal of Cultural Merit in Castilla-La Mancha for its patronage and support of culture in the 5th Edition of these awards promoted by the regional government.
