Round Table Opportunities, Challenges, and Proposals in Training and Employment for the Energy Transition, organized by Fundación Iberdrola España and Casa de América.

Achieving a just and equitable energy transition “is one of the greatest challenges facing our world“, recently declared UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who also emphasized that “renewable energies are the only credible path to achieving true energy security, stable energy prices, and sustainable employment opportunities“.

In this context, experts from the business world, public administration, and social organizations, both national and international, will reflect together on the enormous opportunities that this energy transition offers for training and employment.

Throughout the debate, the various issues surrounding the energy transition and the employment opportunities it offers in the green economy will be addressed: job profiles required, skills and necessary training available, as well as gaps and needs that emerge in terms of public policies or partnerships, initiatives underway, initiatives with a focus on vulnerable, etc.
