The traveling exhibition “Museorum” comes to Bolaños de Calatrava promoted by Fundación Iberdrola España

  • Over 40 panels display the art of the provincial museums in the Municipal Park, where they can be seen until November 5
  • This project adds to the programs that the company develops in Castilla-La Mancha, in its commitment to culture and heritage conservation

The exhibition ‘Museorum’ brings from today to Bolaños de Calatrava, in Ciudad Real, the art of the provincial museums, through a selection of the most outstanding historical works. This is the fourth stop of this cycle, organized by the Iberdrola Foundation Spain, which travels through Castilla La-Mancha,

More than 40 panels have been installed in the Municipal Park. From the Museum of Ciudad Real, they are present, concretely, the Anancus Arvernensis, the Sword of Tongue of Carp, the Stela of Warrior of Alamillo, the Ring of Gold of Alcubillas, the Maravedí of Gold of Alfonso VIII, the Almohad Tinaja of Alarcos, the Cover of the Synagogue of Ciudad Real and the Donkeys of Antonio Lopez Torres.

The inauguration was attended, among others, by Felipe López, deputy mayor of Bolaños de Calatrava and councilor of Education, Culture, Economic Development and Employment; José Jesús Caro, provincial delegate of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of CLM in Ciudad Real; Fernando García, president of Fundación Iberdrola España; and Jesús Medina, trustee of the Iberdrola Spain Foundation.

After the success of the exhibition in Cuenca, Alcolea de Calatrava, and Cifuentes, ‘Museorum’ continues its tour through the towns of Castilla-La Mancha. After this stop, the exhibition will continue to Quintanar del Rey, Illescas, La Roda, Humanes, Torrijos, and Tobarra.
