Project with FAD – “Project to support the labor market insertion of young people in training in renewable energies”
Fundación Iberdrola España has signed a collaboration agreement with Fundación FAD Juventud for the development of a project to support the labor market insertion of young people in training in renewable energies.
The program is aimed at a group of 39 unemployed young people between 15 and 17 years old, in situations of vulnerability, living in Extremadura, who are currently training for, “Basic Professional Title in Electricity and Electronics”:
The centers for the 2023/2024 course (Basic Vocational Training in the rural environment) are:
- IES Cristo del Rosario (Zafra – Badajoz)
- IES Eugenio Hermoso (Fregenal de la Sierra – Badajoz)
- IES Extremadura (Montijo – Badajoz)
- IES Zurbarán (Navalmoral de la Mata – Cáceres)
A set of complementary activities in which the participation of Iberdrola Group professional volunteers is possible is planned, such as:
- “Master Class” in person (maximum 2 hours).
- Workshops for a smaller group and with more practical content.
- Visits to Iberdrola facilities in the area.
